Many of us often feel the need to transfer data between computers or to play multiplayer games, in this article I'll explain how to achieve all this through LAN.
Step 1: Right Click on 'My Computer' and then goto Properties.
Step 2: In the 'Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings' block click on 'Change Settings'. Now, all the computers in the network should have the same workgroup while their computer names should be different.
Step 3: Connect the computers through LAN and enjoy!
If you have to connect more than one computer then you'll have to use a router. Router will have multiple ports and simply connect multiple computers configured as above and they'll appear on network.
